First Donations
2024
April – Donated items to The Caring Closet at Lugoff Elgin High School – Toiletry items for students. (Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, personal everyday items) needed for high school students.

May – Donated approximately 50 books to Principal Benson at Jackson Elementary School to share with the K – 5 students. It was a real pleasure to share these new books to our future brilliant students as one of our first book donations.

May – Donated twenty-three paperback books to Lugoff – Elgin High School. These were classic novels (new) left over from our previous bookstore. Although they are not K-5 children’s books, the Poole Boyd Foundation wanted to share these books.

June – Donated thirty-nine cookbooks to the Kershaw County Library in Camden, SC. These were left over from our previous bookstore. Although they are not K-5 children’s books, the Poole Boyd Foundation wanted to share these books with others.
The Elevate 4k Event was a success. Over 100 bags donated by Where's My Book!
The Poole Boyd Foundations “Where’s My Book will be partnering with the Kershaw County School District’s Elevate 4K on June 29, 2024. We are blessed to have books and school resources to give to the upcoming 4K students of Kershaw County.
Prayerfully this is just the beginning of a long lasting program of giving and we will be able to share with other counties in the near future with the help of donations from grants and donors. Wish us luck!
Our name is not on the list because we just recently asked to be present. Looking forward to next year.
